Profile Lake
Thid 13-acre lake is the headwaters to the Pemigewasset River and is stocked with trout each season. It is located under where the Old Man of the Mountain used to sit atop the Cannon Cliff. There is no boat ramp at Profile Lake. Parking area is on the west side of I-93 just past Exit 34B heading southbound.
Restrictions at Profile Lake:
- Fly Fishing Only
- No person shall take brook trout 12"-16" in length. All brook trout 12"-16" in length must be released immediately and unharmed. The daily limit for brook trout shall be 2 fish over 16".
Echo Lake
A 38-acre spring-fed lake stocked with trout. Boat ramp access is on the south end of the lake just up the road from the Aerial Tramway parking lot, Exit 34B. Please note fishing is not allowed within the swim zone at Echo Lake Beach.
