Tuckerbrook Learning Area
Discover Cannon’s biggest little mountain in the Tuckerbrook Learning Area
Tuckerbrook is not just for kids!
3 chairlifts, and 14 trails were designed and built just for families, learning, and for those who want a relaxed skiing or riding experience apart from the “big mountain”.
The Tuckerbrook Family Area is a completely separated (while still connected) learning area perfect for beginners and families learning how to ski or snowboard. Tuckerbrook is unlike many "beginner areas" at other mountains. It is accessed directly from the main base area, which provides full services and access to the entire mountain, yet it is tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the main mountain, giving it a relaxed and comfortable feel... perfect for learning! See the map below...
From the wide open Brookside slope to the easy trees of Robin’s Nest, there’s plenty of terrain here for just about any skier or rider! During midweek periods, the Tuckerbrook quad chair serves all of the trails and slopes in the area. On weekends, and during holiday periods, the Brookside triple chair may run to provide even more options. The Snowsports School is located along the side of the Brookside slope.
If you’re a first timer on the snow, you’ll start at the top of the gentle Brookside slope. There’s lots of room here for your first turns on snow. Brookside is not only designed for learning, it also offers a great view over northern NH, and even into Vermont. If the Brookside chair is running, you can go right back up and enjoy it all over again. If Brookside chair isn’t running, go just a bit further down, and you’ll find the base of the Tuckerbrook chair.
