Attractions
The Tram and Flume Gorge still have limited availability on Monday, 10/14!
We're expecting a busy long weekend in Franconia Notch State Park, which means heavy traffic-- vehicles and pedestrians. As you're moving through the park , please keep this in mind and be aware of your surroundings. This is important for those behind the wheel, and also those walking along the roadways and in parking lots. If you have reservations to one of these attractions, please be sure to give yourselves extra time, as traffic may cause delays. Artist Bluff Hikers: there will be very heavy foot traffic on the trail today. Please observe posted signs, attendant directions, and park only where instructed. Please respect our state park and our trails and follow Leave No Trace guidelines. There will be staff on site in the trailhead parking lot providing information.
Franconia Notch State Park is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Franconia Notch is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway which extends from the Flume Gorge at the south to Echo Lake at the north. For eight miles, I-93 winds between the high peaks of the Kinsman and Franconia mountain ranges. See below for a listing of all attractions and activities to enjoy in the Notch this summer/fall!
