Trails open today: 81 + Mittersill Lifts open today: 4

Total Open: 282.01 acres Total Groomed: 144.75 acres
Surface: Packed Powder/Powder
Weather today: Tuesday - Sunshine in AM then increasing clouds. Temps rnaging from a low near 0 on the summit to a high near 25 at base elevations, with N-S winds 5-10 mph. Snow at night, 2-5 inches possible. Weather tomorrow: Wednesday - Any mixed precip ends early AM, then mostly to partly cloudy. High near 42.
Today's temps: - Tuesday: 0-25 °F
Terrain Parks: The Tossup Terrain Park is now open with over 15 rails, jumps, and other features. A medium-sized park is also available on Parkway. A mini park is open on Huckerbrook.
Mittersill Area:
The Mittersill terrain is open, but the the lift is closed Mon-Fri and reopens every weekend. If a powder day is expected, we'll most likely make an exception. No shuttle service is available, but again, the terrain remains OPEN. Make proper plans ahead of time. Also, you may encounter thin cover and natural hazards in spots. Mittersill is for experts only.

We picked up 4" of new snow since early Monday morning.  The corduroy can't get much better, while the natural terrain & bump runs are rejuvenated with the new snow.  For Tuesday, we're expecting a colder start, but with plenty of sunshine in the morning.  Temps are predicted in the single digits from summit-to-base at the opening bell, but the mercury should rise into the teens and 20s from top-to-bottom by mid-day, with a high predicted near 25 at base elevations.  Light winds are predicted around 5-10 mph.  Cannon has the most open trails in NH, plus the most recorded snow of any ski area in the state this season.  Surface conditions are some of the most worthy of the year, and lift tickets are just 2-for-$74 on Tuesday.

Tuesday - We're scheduled to open at 9am with all 81 trails and 4 lifts (see the lift report for a complete schedule).  Please note: The Tram is closed Tuesday-Thursday during non-holiday periods.  Also, the Mittersill Double will now operate on weekends ONLY for the remainder of the season, but the terrain remains OPEN during that time.  If we're expecting a midweek powder day, we'll most likely make an exception.  Otherwise, no lift or shuttle service will be available on weekdays, so please make proper transportation plans or route-finding decisions before heading over.  You can expect the best packed powder of the season on most groomed trails, while the natural terrain features great coverage & powder stashes, but you may encounter some firm spots in places.  Race training is planned on Rocket, which remains open to the public.  Also, please note that on Saturday, March 7th the Eastern High School Championships will be taking place on Missing Link, Middle Ravine & Turnpike.  These trails will be closed while racing is in progress.
