The Flume Gorge and Visitor Center is open daily rain or shine from May 6, 2016 through October 23, 2016.
May 6 - June 17: 8:30am - 5pm (last ticket sold & last bus ride of the day is at 5pm)
June 18 - September 4 : 8:30am - 5:30pm (last ticket sold & last bus ride of the day is at 5:30pm)
September 5 - October 23: 8:30am - 5pm (last ticket sold & last bus ride of the day is at 5pm)
The Flume is actually spectactular after and during rainfall!
2016 Summer Rates:
Ages 13+: $16
Ages 6-12: $13
5 & Under: FREE w/ paid adult.

This stunning natural wonder will leave you spellbound as you stroll the path from the Visitors Center to the Flume and back. Walk the entire 2 mile loop and you'll see towering moss-covered granite walls, cascading waterfalls, historic covered bridges, glacial pools & boulders and much more. A shorter 1/2 mile walk brings you to The Flume Gorge itself.
- The Flume is a natural granite gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty.
- Towering granite walls rise to a spectacular height of 90 feet
- The Flume Gorge was discovered in 1808
The Flume Gorge surrounds our Visitors Center where you can experience the historic wonder of Franconia Notch State Park in high definition, enjoy a meal or light snack and browse our selection of New Hampshire made products.

PETS: Pets are only permitted in Franconia Notch State Park in the designated dog walks in the Flume & Tramway parking lots. Pets are prohibited from Echo Lake Beach, Lafayette Campground, on the Tram and in the Flume Gorge.
