Adaptive Benefit, Sunrise Ascent on Mount Washington - August 7

Our partners, the Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country who run the Adaptive Ski Program during our winter season are hosting their biggest annual fundraiser August 7th as they make a sunrise trek with adaptive participants & support crews up the Auto Road to the summit of Mount Washington. Public Notice: Public Information Session - August 11

6:00pm August 11, 2016. The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation is holding a public information session at Cannon Mountain & Franconia Notch State Park Headquarters, located at I-93 (Franconia Notch Parkway) exit 34-C (260 Tramway Drive Franconia, NH 03580) to seek comment on the proposed acquisition of 399.43 acres of undeveloped forested land on Profile Road (parcel 00020-0000001). This property directly abuts Franconia Notch State Park and the White Mountain National Forest. A 30-day comment period, concluding September 11, 2016, will occur for the public to comment on the proposed acquisition and the Division’s short-term plans to make said parcel available for the public use.



Virgin-Macleod Memorial Golf Tournament - August 12

Join for a round of 18 in the heart of the White Mountains! In memory of long time supporters of Franconia Ski Club, Tina Virgin and Ken MacLeod, the Annual Virgin-MacLeod Memorial Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Friday, August 12 at the Maplewood Country Club in Bethlehem.  All proceeds from this fun event support FSC's Scholarship Fund, helping to defray the high cost of skiing to many deserving athletes. BodeBash Golf & Tennis Classic - August 27-28

A family friendly two-day event with a tennis tournament at Tamarack Tennis Camp on day one and a shotgun start 18 Hole Scramble at the majestic Maplewood Country Club on day two. Plenty of food, drinks & games throughout the weekend as well. The event raises funds for the Turtle Ridge Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting adaptive and youth sports programs in our communities with grants, scholarships, general funding and more. 5th Annual Simmer n' Brew Fest - November 5

Back for its 5th year! This is the best thing happening to spice up off-season in the 'Notch. Tickets include special sampling glass, raffle prizes, live music, samples of fresh brews from New England breweries and gourmet soups galore from local chefs & eateries. More info coming soon...
