Swim, Boat and Fish at Echo Lake Beach

ECHO LAKE BEACH will open for the season on June 14, 2013
Boat rentals may be available on weekends only prior to the 14th, weather depending.

 

At Echo Lake Beach, visitors can enjoy the beauty of a 28-acre lake with an excellent view. The slopes of Cannon Mountain ski area drop right to the edge of the lake, and the view highlights where the Franconia Range and Kinsman Range meet, creating the notch.

Summer Beach Hours are 10am - 5:30pm.
Echo Lake has a small snack bar, canoe, kayak and pedal boat rentals.
The Snack Shack now carries: sunscreen, bug spray, kids fishing poles, buckets & shovels, bait carriers, nets and blow-up floatation devices.

PETS: Pets are only permitted in Franconia Notch State Park in the designated dog walks in the Flume & Tramway parking lots. Pets are prohibited from Echo Lake Beach, Cannon RV Park, Lafayette Campground, on the Tram and in the Flume Gorge.

Admission (Day Use) Rates*

Adults (ages 12+): $4.00
Children (ages 6-11): $2.00
Children 5 & under: FREE
* We reserve the right to collect fees from anyone on the beach before 10am.

Boat Rentals
Canoes, Kayaks, and Pedal Boats are available for rent at Echo Lake, weather permitting between the hours of 10am and 4pm. The last boats go out at 4pm.
All Boat Rentals: $20 / hour.
